Long-term Therapy
Long-term Therapy can be compared to an immersive journey of self-discovery that we board on together within a supportive therapeutic alliance. This journey encompasses a range of experiences—it can be captivating, an eye-opening, but it can also be intimidating, and distressing at times, however, the rewards that await are fulfilling.
The goal is that together we can go on a profound journey of exploring the complexities of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours that have become deeply ingrained in your psyche and frequently they become patterns of relating. By starting this path of self-discovery, you will develop a deeper understanding and self-awareness, laying the foundation for personal development and the capacity to start making changes for the better in your life.
While our main point of focus will be the present, we’ll also delve into your recollections from the past and your worries for the future. By highlighting these factors, we will also examine how past memories and future concerns influence your current experiences.
Long term psychotherapy gives you the opportunity to connect with aspects of yourself, as you may be able to link patterns and unfold certain aspects of yourself. You may seek long-term psychotherapeutic counselling if you feel you need to gain more insight into the issues you’re facing or if you need to have the time to unpacking distressing and at times traumatic issues. Regardless of the circumstances, I am here to support you in finding.
