Initial consultation

Embarking on this journey may seem daunting at first. However, just take the step of reaching out to me through email, telephone, or text, sharing as much or as little as you feel at ease with. From there, we can arrange an initial 15-minute free consultation. The main objective of our consultation, will be to learn more about you, gaining a deeper understanding about what brought you to therapy. This will allow us to determine whether I am the right counsellor for you. In addition, it gives us an opportunity to discuss the length it may take to achieve your goal. We can also explore the most suitable approach that would provide the opportunity and support for your specific needs.

Urgent Help: If you are feeling very distressed, despairing or suicidal and need immediate help please contact your GP and request an emergency appointment, contact the Samaritans (on hand to talk day and night) on 116 123, or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.

If your GP surgery is not open, you can contact the NHS Connection Team on 0800 652 0190 or NHS 111. This phone line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation. If you feel at harm to yourself or from an other – go straight to your nearest Accident and Emergency.

You can also text ‘SHOUT’ to 85208 which offers 24/7 mental health support.

You can chat live online at kooth.com (online wellbeing community with live chat).
