Who am I?
Welcome to my website.
Choosing a therapist is a very important decision. It’s important you find someone who you can trust, has the experience and respects your values.
With extensive experience in counselling and psychotherapy, acquired through years of practice since 2004, I offer a profound understanding of human behaviour. As a BACP-accredited counsellor, I adhere to their ethical framework as the foundation for all my clinical work.
My integrative training in the Clarkson’s Five Relationships model has allowed me to explore and integrate the main approaches to counselling and psychotherapy: Humanistic, Existentialism, Psychodynamic, short-term therapy, specialized skills, and theoretical models for working with addiction/behaviour disorders. This extensive training equips me with a variety of interventions and strategies to support my clients effectively.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation, no obligation, to all new clients. I’m happy to answer any questions.
My Counselling Approach
The core focus of my approach is to prioritize the therapeutic alliance between the counsellor and the client. I provide a safe and confidential space exclusively for you, where you can pause your daily life, step back, and unravel your thoughts and emotions.
I am flexible and adaptable, ready to work in different ways that best suit your needs and preferences. Together, we will determine the approach that feels most suitable and beneficial for you.
By integrating various theoretical models and interventions, I can tailor my approach to meet your needs. I recognize the importance of establishing a strong therapeutic alliance, as it creates a safe and trusting space for you to explore.
Creating a safe and confidential space is a fundamental aspect of my practice. It allows you to freely express yourself without fear of judgment or disclosure. This fosters a sense of trust and openness, which is vital for the therapeutic process.
In summary, my integrative approach, focus on the therapeutic alliance, and willingness to adapt to your individual needs, demonstrating my commitment to providing effective and personalized support.
Our sessions can be weekly or fortnight and last for 60 minutes. All sessions are conducted online, offering convenience and accessibility.
If you participate in therapy, changes may start occurring which will help you feel more empowered and less worried. You may notice that you are increasing your self-esteem your inner peace and you are laughing more. You may feel more excited about your life.
