As a humanistic counsellor using the Clarkson model of integration and informed short-term therapies such as brief therapy, compassion focused therapy (CFT) and acceptance committed therapy (ACT), In our collaborative work, we can establish a mutual agreement to engage in 6 -12 sessions before evaluating our progress. Throughout this process, my role will be to provide support as you concentrate on specific issues and explore potential solutions. While I can offer guidance, structure, and techniques as needed, the transformative breakthroughs and insights you experience will predominantly emerge from our profound focus on your concerns. When you opt for brief and focused counselling, you may be facing with workplace-related stress, or other forms of stress related issues. However, it’s important to note that the distinction between these two approaches can change. Occasionally, individuals initially seek brief and focused work but later choose to continue for an extended duration, delving into deeper aspects of their experiences.
